Fintech in France – part one

In the world of fashion, France and especially Paris is amongst the top-players. But also within the Financial sector, France is booming with Fintech companies and start-ups, from crowdfunding platforms to banking accounts. Fintech Valley would like to present you a first selection of these Fintechs, most of them based in Paris. 


The Fintech start-up Alphametry is an investment research community for market professionals. Based in Paris the company was founded in 2014. Dedicated to corporates, credit insurers and funders, Aston iTrade Finance is an online platform who’s service is to optimize trade receivables for customers and suppliers. Within France, they have offices in Paris and Nancy, in the American continent in Mexico and Chile and in Asia in Hong Kong, Singapore and Taipei. The Paris company budgetinsight was founded in 2012, they offer a web application to manage accounts from different banks. The web application runs under the name Budgea and has an own website (only available in French). For more information about budgetinsight itself, please refer to

The Compte Nickel is a current account service offered by the Parisian based payment company Financière des Paiements Electroniques (FPE). The account, that also comes with a bank card, can be opened at a tobacco / newsagent stand throughout France within a few minutes.
